The program fees for the Fall 2010 program will be set in the Spring of 2010. Below are the fees for the 2009 program:

The program fee includes:
Estimated additional expenses include: trans-Atlantic travel to and from the program, miscellaneous items (passport, books, backpack), and personal expenses.
Students are responsible for personal expenses during the entire program. An estimated $700-$900 is adequate for most students; however, personal spending for hygiene, dietary choices, entertainment and gifts can vary greatly from person to person. Students should consider their personal spending habits when budgeting for the program.
Making inquiries and arrangements for financial aid is the responsibility of the student. Many students have been able to apply financial aid from their home institution to the Comparative Women's and Gender Studies Program.
AEA has compiled a list of resources for outside grants and scholarships that may be applicable to this study abroad program. We strongly recommend that students begin the scholarship and grant application process as early as possible, as these deadlines may differ considerably from AEA deadlines.
