Any student in good academic standing with his or her home institution may apply to the Arts and Culture in Mali program. Applicants should be mature, culturally sensitive, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and able to adapt to new situations. We welcome students interested in a broad range of disciplines, including studio arts, music, dance, theater arts, anthropology, photography, cultural studies, global studies, peace studies, African studies, international studies, and community outreach. Non-credit students with a serious commitment to learning will also be considered.
Application packets are available from the Antioch Education Abroad office and online from the AEA Admissions page. Required components include the application form, an essay, two faculty recommendations, official transcripts, the questionnaire, and a $50 application fee.
The application deadline is March 30. Early submissions are welcomed and will be processed in a timely fashion. Late applicants will be considered on a space-available basis.
