The fees for the Fall 2010 program are as follows:
Tuition: $627/credit hour
Total Tuition: $10,033 (16 semester credits)
Round-Trip Transportation Internationally from London to Bodh Gaya and
Transportation in India : $2,315
Room and Board: $6625
The program fees include:
Personal expenses, additional insurance, books, meals in London, and transportation to/from London are not included.
Since the program begins in London, students must make their own travel arrangements from the United States to England. Information concerning low-cost transatlantic tickets will be provided by Antioch. Students and faculty will proceed from London to Delhi as a group. Return Delhi-London tickets are valid for ten months.

AEA has compiled a list of resources for outside grants and scholarships that may be applicable to this study abroad program. We strongly recommend that students begin the scholarship and grant application process as early as possible, as these deadlines may differ considerably from AEA deadlines.

AEA offers a limited number of scholarships for the Buddhist Studies in India program. You can download the application here (in PDF format).
Outside scholarships can be of great help. In the past, students on AEA have successfully received the Gilman International Scholarship for up to $5,000. The application deadline for this substantial award is April 15.
