Q.

Will Antioch College's suspension of operations effect Antioch Education Abroad?

A.

At Antioch Education Abroad, we assure you that our staffing, content, and academic accreditation will continue uninterrupted in 2008 and beyond. Through this transitional period, AEA staff are wholly committed to continuing our historic tradition of offering challenging study abroad experiences to students around the world. Below is a statement from Toni Murdoch, Chancellor of Antioch University:

"Antioch University's Study Abroad program, Antioch Education Abroad, will continue to operate this coming academic year.... Responsibility for this program remains with Antioch University under the auspices of the Chancellor.  AEA is essential in the type of curriculum we need to offer to the 21st century student to educate global citizens with international competency."

Q.

How can I pay for study abroad? Are any scholarships available?

A.

A wide array of outside grants and scholarships are available. We strongly reccommend exploring these options as early as possible, since these deadlines may be significantly earlier than Antioch Education Abroad application deadlines. AEA has compiled a list of resources for outside grants and scholarships that may be applicable to our programs. For more information, please download the AEA Scholarship and Grant Resources for 2008/09 (in pdf format).
